IDVS AND THE IDVS+

IDVS

The Interactive Digital Vinyl System is the long overdue evolution of DVS. IDVS is the enabling technology and the IDVS+ is the first device designed for this technology.

Like traditional DVS setups, the IDVS+ allows DJs to control digital music using an artificial vinyl record. However, unlike other systems, IDVS generally eliminates the need for constant computer interaction, allowing DJs to fully focus on their turntable performance. This intuitive approach sets a new benchmark for digital vinyl systems and DJ technology. The conceptual UI/UX design shown offers just a glimpse of the potential for real-time interaction and operation with IDVS.

THE IDVS DEVELOPMENT

IDVS and the IDVS+ is in a state of development. The technology behind it is state of the art and partly known from the Sensory DVS (MWM DJ Phase) and modern smart devices. The IDVS+ incorporates the latest advances in display, sensor, wireless, and battery technology.

IDVS must be integrated with DJ software such as Serato, Traktor, Rekordbox, and others, as well as basic music player software like Apple Music or "Music Speed Changer."

ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS

We are also developing versions of the IDVS that combine traditional Timecode DVS with the innovative features of Interactive DVS.

Looking ahead, the IDVS+ could also evolve into a stand-alone device, offering wireless audio transmission and playback from either an integrated hard drive or the cloud or even become a fully cloud-based device.
