The IDVS+ is a battery powered Sensory DVS Control Vinyl for DJ software that connects wirelessly to your computer.
It looks and feels like a record, but it is packed with motion sensors to detect rotation speed and direction. The turntable stylus is obsolete.
It's design provides vinyl-like DVS control over digital audio on your computer or digital player**.
AN INTERACTIVE DVS CONTROL VINYL
The 12" touch screen on the IDVS+ surface introduces the revolutionary interactive features of IDVS.
With IDVS, the Control Vinyl can now display playback information and user interfaces that can be controlled by multitouch gestures.
This allows interactive, real-time control of connected DJ software* directly on the surface of your DVS Control Vinyl.
As a non-DJ luxury gimmick, the IDVS+ can also be elegantly used to remotely control basic music applications* on your computer.
It shows artwork and allows file navigation, music selection and playback control (and allows changing playback speed when using a DJ turntable)
No need to touch your computer, just put on the IDVS+, turn on your turntable and the music will start.
* DJ software (e.g. Serato,) NI Traktor DJ, Rekordbox and many more) and basic music applications (e.g. iTunes, Spotify) are not yet adapted to Interactive-DVS features.
** the IDVS+ will support computers, hybrid mixers, DJ players and DJ controllers.

PITCH CONTROL : A FEATURE OF DJ TURNTABLES THAT ALLOWS THE SPEED OF ROTATION TO BE VARIED BY APPROXIMATELY +-10% TO MATCH THE PLAYBACK SPEED OF ANOTHER TRACK FOR MIXING PURPOSES.
AUTO-SYNC : A MODERN FEATURE OF DJ SOFTWARE THAT AUTOMATICALLY SYNCHRONIZES THE SPEED OF MULTIPLE DIGITAL TRACKS, THEREBY ELIMINATING THE NEED FOR MANUAL BEAT MATCHING VIA PITCH CONTROL.
DVS (DIGITAL VINYL SYSTEM) : A DEVICE DESIGNED FOR USE BY DJS THAT EMULATES THE FUNCTIONALITY OF A VINYL RECORD. IT IS CAPABLE OF MEASURING THE ROTATION SPEED AND DIRECTION OF VINYL RECORDS ON TURNTABLES, AND ACCORDINGLY PLAYS AUDIO FILES ON A COMPUTER.
